23rd Jun 2009 - Angelina Jolie!!
Classic Cupcakes gets the seal of approval from Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise lookalikes at a Celebrity Double event in London.

Favourite on the night was the Catwalk Ebony and Ivory collection. ‘Brad’ raved about the taste and texture of the cakes and how much they reminded him of his childhood in grandmothers kitchen. ‘Angelina’ on the other hand was preoccupied with the sensual sexy look and feel of the cakes. Whatever ticks your box said Jennifer, founder and head pastry chef of Classic Cupcakes. It was a short notice order involving more than 300 cupcakes but it was a great event to be part of.
23rd May 2009 - Found - 2000 year old cupcake
At a secret location in the north west desert region of England esteemed archaeologists have unearthed the oldest known fossilised cupcake. Dr Frost and his associate Miss Topping discovered the fossil whilst excavating near what was the former Lake Windermere tourist attraction in the 19th and 20th century.

The site is an ancient ‘picnic’ area. This is where people used to journey to with their families in transportation referred to as ‘cars’ or ‘automobiles’ and eat food. Dr Frost has also disclosed that containers with the name ‘Coke’ still visible were found close to the cake fossil.

Miss Topping is confident that the Hydron Particle Analyser will enable them to rebuild the atomic structure of the cake allowing recreations to be made. She plans to demonstrate this at the 4010 AD International Science Conference in London next year.

Her next plans include the recreation of one of the ancient Britons who would have been a consumer of these cakes!!
