Terms & Conditions

Please print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your reference.
You agree to the Classic Cup Cakes Limited terms and conditions by purchasing goods from the Company.

1. Secure Server
All orders are fully encrypted before being sent to us via a secure server.

2. Payment
You may pay by Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Delta. Please fill in your card number and expiry date. If you are paying by Switch you will also need to include the card issue number or start date. The purchase area of our site is provided by ProtX which uses industry standard Secure Socket Layer technology to allow for encryption of potentially sensitive information such as your credit card details. Customers are referred to Sagepay’s Terms and Conditions during the purchasing process.

If you order off-line you may also pay by BACS. BACS orders will not be processed until payment has been cleared.

3. Delivery
We are constantly reviewing customer requirements regarding delivery locations. Current availability will be shown in the delivery section of our website.

All goods are sent by insured carrier and can be delivered to UK mainland addresses on any day Tuesday to Saturday except Bank Holidays or the day after a bank holiday. Orders received will be despatched for delivery before 1PM on the acknowledged date. This does not include Scottish Highland postal codes with prefix IV,KW,AB,PH,PA., contact us for prices and availability..

Goods may be ordered and paid for up to 3 calendar months in advance of delivery during which time the price will be held.

Please note that the carrier is only responsible for delivering against signature to the address you request. We regret that where the goods have been correctly delivered we cannot accept responsibility if the address provided is wrong or the intended recipient has moved.

Where the carrier is unable to find someone to accept delivery they will leave a card at the address for the recipient to make contact.

4. Products
Photographs and illustrations of product are intended to be as representative as possible. Computer monitor resolution may affect colour interpretation. Our cakes are made using small scale baking methods. Each cake is hand decorated and the appearance may vary slightly from cake to cake. Weights and sizes are approximate. Classic Cup Cakes Limited reserves the right to change or modify supplier products as and when necessary. Every effort will be made to despatch the items specified. However in the event of supply difficulties with any packaging and/or components within our products, we reserve the right to substitute goods of equal quality and value.

5. Ordering
Classic Cup Cakes Limited normally despatches product within 5 days from receipt of order.

Should we be unable for any reason to fulfil the order within the acknowledged despatch date we will notify you by phone or email. You will then have one of the following options; (a) cancel the order and receive a full refund, (b) choose another product to the same value, (c) continue with the original order which will be entered on our system and a new despatch date advised.

Classic Cup Cakes Limited reserve the right to decline or cancel any order without reason and where appropriate issue a refund.

6. Returns
Classic Cup Cakes Limited will only issue a refund in the event that;

  • (a) products received are not those specified in your order.
  • (b) Any gift collection item purchased has been damaged in transit.

You must notify us within 24 hours of receipt of incorrect or damaged gift collection goods by email and we will provide you with a returns address.

To initiate a refund it is mandatory that we receive the Cake Collection in its original packaging without any damage, and/or any damaged Gift Collection item ( at your cost). Classic Cup Cakes reserves the right to deduct any associated costs from the refund. We do not refund any postage or packaging costs associated with the return.

Personalised products are non-returnable.

7. Liability.
Classic Cup Cakes Limited liability is limited to the replacement value of goods supplied.

Complaints will be acknowledged by the end of the following working day after receipt and we will inform you of the result or progress within 7 days of the complaint being received. If the complaint takes longer to resolve we will update you every 7 days.
